Ooo, the contrast of red roses and lavender is quite striking, I think. ♥️💜

Dried lavender can last for years, and while it’s beautiful all on its own, it’s also kind of fun to add another flower for something a little extra.

I bought these roses from the grocery store and put them in silica gel crystals months ago (and then forgot about them until today). 😋

Have you dried flowers in silica crystals? Do you have any lavender bouquets to dress up? If not, I happen to have a few. 😄

What a joyful time at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show. I got to help out fellow lavender farm friends, Don and Astrid of Astrid’s Lavender Farm of Gig Harbor. They are the sweetest people, and some of the hardest workers I know. It was so fun talking to visitors of their booth about lavender. And, the show was pretty incredible with wonderful garden scenes in the main exhibition hall, fantastic speakers, including the Sweet Pea Queen, Marryn Mathis. Fun to watch the Container Showdown Celebrity edition with people I didn’t recognize but have been on Netflix shows.

The atmosphere was great, down to earth, friendly gardeners and farmers. I soaked it up!

Hey everyone, just wanted to say thanks for sticking around despite our radio silence lately! We`ve had a lot going on - Mark`s had two ankle surgeries 😩, we`re gearing up for a barn-building adventure 😄, and had an amazing Thanksgiving with my grandma 🥰.

Thanks for supporting our lavender farm - we`re stoked you`re enjoying our products and sharing them with friends and family.

The peonies are in the ground! Isn’t it wild how something gorgeous starts off looking so humble? They definitely go through a major transformation.

Thank you @devroomenus for the gorgeous peony roots. And huge thanks to @ben_shallow02 @dylan.shallow @sabrinadebont and my mom, Terri for lending a hand in the field! I’d still be digging in the dirt for ages without you all.

That’s a wrap on the 2025 growing season! The plants are sooo good. Very healthy, and they seem to be happy living their high dessert Methow Valley life.

Next up - field prep for peonies!! My Dad is out there digging a trench for the next irrigation line.

I can’t wait to have peonies blooming in the field.
