Visiting the Farm
Our small family farm is in Carlton, Washington, located in the heart of the Methow Valley. We’re not ready for visitors … yet. Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on Facebook and Instagram to be one of the first to know when we have our grand opening.
When we do, we think you’ll love the Methow Valley as much as we do. You’ll find beauty, adventure, and — of course! — lavender. #LavenderMoments
As you look over our farm, through the fields, to the mountains — we hope you feel, see, and ignite the possibilities within you. We hope you connect with your free spirit, your joy, and your calm. Breathe the lavender-scented air — inhale it all. Exhale the tension. Reconnect, refresh, and reinvigorate. Savor the moments. We can’t wait to see you in Carlton.
🐴 Barn update: slowly but surely! 🏡✨
Little by little, we’re getting closer to having an actual barn! And when I say little by little, I mean… VERY little by little. 😂
This process has definitely taken longer than we anticipated. Between building plan revisions, water testing, literally TONS of dirt to move and reshape, building codes, mixed-use residential + commercial regulations, temporary electrical for the construction crew, and about a million other details we never knew existed… it’s been quite the adventure!
But every time we see a little more progress, we get excited all over again. 💜
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that soon all the pieces will finally come together and this barn we’ve been dreaming about will become a reality.
One load of dirt, one permit, and one step at a time. 🌿🚜🏡
Stay tuned… we’re getting there! 💜

💜 It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! 💜
And today, our neighborhood happens to be Lake Stevens! 🏡✨
Come say hi, check out our newest lavender goodies, and visit all of the wonderful neighboring businesses while you’re here!
Here’s a little full-circle fun: back in 1994, we bought our very first home right here in Lake Stevens—just a short walk from @dwellersdrinkery, where we are today. 🥹
Who could’ve guessed all those years ago that we’d one day be back in the neighborhood, promoting our lavender farm in Carlton, WA? 💜🌿
And because apparently the universe loves a good coincidence… two of our sons now work here at Dwellers! ❤️
So much nostalgia. So many memories. And somehow, we’ve come full circle.
Come see us in the neighborhood! 🌿💜

Thank you to Amy at @methowphotography for helping us capture our lavender field so beautifully. 💜
So grateful for this group of hard, hard workers. It takes grit and determination to pull this off in extreme heat warnings and wildfire smoke. Friends and family have supported us through it all - harvesting, distilling, keeping us fed, teaching, encouraging. Feeling loved. 🥰

We’ve reached the harvesting by moonlight stage (because we’re tired and want to get it done). It is quiet, peaceful, and quite beautiful. 💜🌙

Sending a peaceful moment to rest and restore. 💜
Week 3 at the Chelan Evening Farmers Market! I’ve had the best help each week. Today I’m here with my niece. She did our product setup and it’s beautiful - she has such an artistic eye! But the best part is time with her and the memories we’re making today.
Peace & Love

🌿 Wondering when it’s time to harvest your lavender?
For most varieties, the sweet spot is when about 25% of the flower buds have opened and the rest are still in bud. At this stage, the color is beautiful, the fragrance is strong, and the stems will dry exceptionally well.
This is not quite ready… 💜💜💜
